Rating System
The sword rating system is entirely subjective. Each reviewer makes a determination as to the rating given. However, here are some basic guidelines to help you separate the great books from the truly horrendous ones. Swords are used to rate novels in the following manner:

One sword is the lowest rating, which means this is a bomb of epic proportions.
Avoid this book at all costs.

Two swords means that the story has its moments, but overall is not worth your time.
A two sword book will do the trick only when nothing else is available.

Three swords tells you that good things are happening in this novel. It may not be
firing on all cylinders, but is a strong, enjoyable read overall.

If you see four swords on a review, this book is a must read. This rating indicates that
the reviewer thinks this is superior work. Put these ones high on your list.

Finally, a rating of five swords means drop what you are doing, run to the book store
and buy this book immediately! This rating is reserved for the best of the best and is
not given without a spiritual experience to back it up.
