I started this website late in 2001 as a hobby. It has been through a variety of names and designs, but this is the final format (for now). Follow the staff link to find out more about me.

The point of the site is to offer up my own opinions on the genre I love and to allow others to publish their own thoughts. It is a site by a fantasy fan, for all fantasy fans. At the moment, the site is very new and therefore a bit light on content, but I hope that will change in the near future (read "your submissions are requested").

I also wanted to create a place for amateur fantasy / sci-fi writers to publish their work. It may not be the paying gig you were hoping for, but if this site can generate some publicity for writers, so much the better.

Please feel free to write me with suggestions, criticisms and good ideas for the site. The books that are listed on the Author Index page that do not have this image   are ones I have read in the past, but have not yet reviewed. If you have reviews for those I just mentioned, or any others that are not listed, please send them my way. Eventually, I plan on setting up a chat group on the site for people to chat about fantasy books or whatever is on their minds.
